What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses held for longer periods of time than in other styles. Advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more. As conceptualized in the Taoist and Dharmic traditions, the sequences of postures are meant to stimulate the channels of the subtle body, known as meridians in Chinese medicine and nadis in Hatha yoga.

What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep in modern usage, is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, typically induced by a guided meditation. The U.S. Army uses it to assist soldiers recovering from post-traumatic stress disorder. Scientific evidence shows that the technique helps relieve stress.

Why journal?

Regular journaling can alleviate stress, anxiety, or depression. Gratitude journaling can lift your mood and change your perspective, while grief journaling may assist in coping with trauma.
